About Me

My photo
Nichole Saunders
Nichole is an artist who specializes in 3D virtual environments while also having a love of traditional craft. Nichole has combined these loves and for the last year has been creating 3D sculptures in felt and polymer clay. Nichole has been involved with the art and craft scene in Fredericton for a few years, having attended the Centre for Arts and Technology for 3D animation, NBCC for Applied Arts, and the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design for Digital Media. She was then hired as the Student Life Coordinator at NBCCD; in this role she was able to immerse herself in the textile studio and found her new love of needle felting. She has also volunteered for organizations around NB, including the Fredericton Arts Alliance, the Relay for Life, the Cross Cultural Youth Project, Nichole finds inspiration for her felted projects in the books she reads and has often wanted to physically express the details from these books. This project hopes to entice younger readers to pick up a book and dive into these fantasy worlds. Thank you for looking at my work Nichole Saunders
